Young kid shocked by outpouring of grief for “unknown” Jack Charlton

‘I’d never even heard of him,’ said little Johnny as he scrolled through his phone and forgot he was being interviewed.‘And now, because of him,I can’t make a sound for a whole minute before kick-off.’

Following the death of Jack Charlton, the noted long-ball advocate and only Englishman who’s an Irish legend(excepting, perhaps,Andy Townsend),one young boy in Yeovil has expressed confusion.

‘You say he’s a legend but I’ve never heard anyone speak about him until now.And then yesterday,my Twitter feed starts blowing up with RIPs for him.I’m so over it.’

‘But you know he won the World Cup?And his brother’s Bobby Charlton.’

‘Bobby who?’
