The Tall-Australian team is an all-star team of AFL players, selected by a panel of BPB journalists, editors and meme-creators at the end of each season. It represents a complete team, including an interchange bench and a coach. To be part of the Tall-Australian team, you have to meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 6 feet and 5 inches tall
- Have a pretty good season
Why 6’5?At 6’4,you could have a functional midfield and hence team, with players like Jarrod Berry,Bontempelli and Fyfe and that wouldn’t be as fun.At 6’6,your local team have an outside chance of beating the talent available if they can bring the ball to ground and if they can nullify(injure)one particular midfield inclusion.
Here at BPB we believe in letting people down as fast as we can – no time for making people hold their breaths with 40-man squads,we rip the bandaid off and that’s it.No time for justifications or explanations either. In that spirit,I present to you the 2020 BPB Tall-Australian Side:
