Breaking News:Hallowed MCG Turf Currently Being Held in Hotel Quarantine After Displaying Flu-like Symptoms

An AFL insider has just informed the BPB that the hallowed piece of MCG turf, being transported to the Gabba for the Grand Final, has just been cited as showing flu-like symptoms during the drive to Brisbane.

“The turf was coughing and sneezing all over the place and all without the courtesy to wear a mask! They said it was just a touch of hay fever and nothing to worry about”

The insider has stated that the turf has been held up at the Southbank Rydges and is awaiting their COVID-19 test results.

If the test results are shown to be positive, the turf will sadly miss their first grand final appearance since 1991 and the AFL will likely be subject to more scrutiny for the turf’s over the top inclusion.

More to come.
